Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

At Syed’s, we strive to provide reliable, high-quality hosting, VPS, and digital services. To ensure the best experience for all our users and to maintain the integrity of our network, all clients must adhere to this Acceptable Use Policy.

1. General Conduct and Prohibited Content

Users may only use our services for lawful purposes. You agree not to host, store, or transmit any content that:

Violates Local or International Laws: Including copyrighted material, trademarks, or trade secrets without authorization.
Is Harmful or Malicious: Such as viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or any code intended to damage or hijack systems.
Promotes Illegal Activity: Including child pornography, hate speech, or incitement of violence.

2. Web Hosting and VPS Usage

To maintain server stability and “Fair Usage” for all customers, the following are prohibited:

Resource Abuse: Running processes that consume excessive CPU, memory, or bandwidth that degrades performance for others.
Illegal File Sharing: Using our servers for unauthorized Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file sharing or torrenting.
Proxy Services: Operating open proxies or VPNs that allow for anonymous or malicious traffic.

3. Email Marketing and Anti-Spam Policy

We have a zero-tolerance policy toward SPAM. If you use our email services or marketing tools, you must comply with the following:

Opt-in Only: You may only send emails to recipients who have explicitly consented to receive them.
Unsubscribe Option: Every marketing email must include a functional “Unsubscribe” link.
No Header Forgery: Forging or misrepresenting message headers or sender identity is strictly prohibited.
Purchased Lists: The use of “bought” or “scraped” email lists is a violation of this policy.

4. Domain Registration and Management

When registering domains through us, you agree:

To provide accurate and current WHOIS contact information.
Not to register domains for the purpose of “cybersquatting” or infringing on existing brand trademarks.
That any domain used for phishing or fraudulent activities will be suspended immediately.

5. Security and System Integrity

You are responsible for the security of your account. This includes:

Password Strength: Using strong passwords and keeping them confidential.
Software Updates: Keeping CMS platforms (like WordPress) and plugins updated to prevent vulnerabilities.
Unauthorized Access: You must not attempt to bypass any security measures or gain unauthorized access to our network or other user accounts.

6. Violations and Enforcement

Failure to comply with this AUP may result in:

A formal warning via email.
Temporary suspension of services.
Permanent termination of the account without a refund, depending on the severity of the violation.
